This course will provide the basic knowledge and skills of food hygiene and food safety in order to prevent foodborne illnesses. This course is designed to educate food handlers and food business operators on how to safely handle food, in line with current international food hygiene regulations.
Throughout this course, food hygiene tests include indicator species as a way to assess their sanitation and conditions. Hands on training will be conducted to demonstrate compliance with hygiene regulation. Food enforcement course is designed for participants to conduct adequate and proper food premise inspection based on legislative requirements. Technical aspects include cleanliness, food storage, food quality and safety, food handlers, equipment and utensils, waste disposal and management, pest or vector control and loading area. At the end of this inspection, participants will enhance their knowledge and technical skills in food hygiene and safety inspection for food establishment.
